Why Would I Choose An Acupuncturist for Microneedling?

Honestly, it’s a great question!  There are so many options out there when it comes to taking care of your skin and choosing which treatment to try.  On top of that, there are many different types of practitioners offering those services. So how is someone to choose?

Here is why I think an Acupuncturist is a very good option to do your Microneedling:

We are really good with needles and treating your symptoms (acne, dull skin, roseaea, sensitive skin) BUT we are also really really good at treating the root of your skin issues.

What does that mean?

Using acne as an example, Acupuncturists are thinking about why you are more prone to even getting acne in the first place.

Could it be hormonal fluctuations?

Could it be related to digestion?

Could it be excess heat or dampness in the body?

As a health care provider trained in Chinese Medicine, I would be looking at all the reasons WHY something is happening to your skin, besides just treating your surface symptoms.  That means when I treat the skin, I am also considering the internal patterns that may be contributing to your skin issues.

And especially if you are already an existing patient of mine, I already am well aware of you health history and your Chinese medicine pattern, which allows me to tailor Microneedling treatments even more specifically to you.

My goal is to give you holistic skin scare that supports both the health of your skin and the balance of your body. The result?  Glowing, dewy, brighter, and firmer skin.  And also addressing the underlying factors that may be affecting it
